Google has now released a Calendar app for iPad - We recommend using it, and ignoring the rest of this article!

Google has not released a native Google Calendar app for the iPad, however the official Calendar app which comes with the iPad can sync with Google Calendars and should work just as well.  It's a pretty easy process.

Before you start; you should know that the color you are using for the calendar may not match exactly when Apple imports it.  If you are currently using different shades of the same color; we recommend you change it to use distinct colors or it will be hard or impossible to tell them apart on Apple's calendar app.  You can change them from your iPad by navigating to http://calendar.google.com using Safari.  Once you have signed in, your calendars will be listed on the left side - you need to touch the down arrow on the right side of the calendar you wish to change, unfortunately the arrow will be invisible until you touch it so just poke the area where it should be until you find it.  Then select a color!

Step 1: On your iPad, go to the Settings app.  On the left, touch "Mail, Contacts, Calendars."  Now touch "Add Account" on the right side.

Step 2:  Select "Google".  You will then need to enter your Google account email and password.

Step 3:  Make sure "Calendars" is turned on.  The others are optional depending on if you want your google email or contacts on your iPad.

Step 4: If you go to Calendar now, your personal calendar will probably be there.  Another step is necessary to sync your shared calendars.  Open Safari and navigate to https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect.  The Mani/Pedi and any other calendars that have been shared with you will be listed under shared calendars.  They most likely will not be checked, so to select them to sync with Apple's Calendar, just touch the box next to them to add a checkmark.  Once the calendars you want are checked, touch the save button on the bottom right of the list.

Finished!  Now when you open the Calendar app, your shared calendars should be available.  You can select which calendars you would like displayed using the "Calendars" text/button at the bottom of the screen:
